# Hex

Hex connects to Databricks with a JDBC URL.

1. In Hex, open **Data connections** and select your **Databricks** connection.
2. In **JDBC URL**, replace the Databricks hostname with the Espresso AI hostname and leave the rest of the URL (including `httpPath`) unchanged, e.g.

```
jdbc:spark://<workspace>.cloud.databricks.espressocomputing.com:443/default;transportMode=http;ssl=1;httpPath=/sql/1.0/warehouses/<warehouse_id>;AuthMech=3;UID=token
```

3. Leave your **Access token** or OAuth settings unchanged.
4. Click **Save** and test the connection.

See the [Hex Databricks guide](https://learn.hex.tech/docs/connect-to-data/data-connections/setup-guides/connect-to-databricks) for more information.
